RISE Indoor Sports has become home for athletes in Bermuda Run and the surrounding communities. Since it opened, athletes and residents have used the facility’s 123,000 square feet of regulation courts, fields and amenities to compete, improve their agility, reach their health and fitness goals and get stronger.
However, as any athlete knows, there is always the risk of injury. Whether you’re in the middle of a tournament, participating in one of RISE’s group fitness courses, summer camps or strength training programs— there is always the risk of injury.
When injuries occur, it’s crucial for athletes to be seen by a sports medicine expert and undergo the proper physical therapy so that they can return to the playing field. One unique amenity that is featured at RISE is Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist’s Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine.
The expert team at Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine – RISE provides on-site care at the RISE Indoor Sports complex, adjacent to Truist Sports Park (home of NC Fusion), serves as a full service clinic serving the Piedmont Triad.
This on-site care includes sports injuries, sprains, fractures, concussions, ACL tears, rotator cuff tears and chronic or acute pain. Their team “will quickly evaluate and treat your injury, so you can recover quicker and get back to doing what you love.”
Services provided at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist’s Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine include injury evaluation and treatment, orthopedics, sports medicine, physical therapy evaluation and management including blood flow restriction training, biodex isokinetic training and testing, anti-gravity treadmill training and dry needling.
RISE was designed to help build stronger, healthier communities through sport, fitness and health programs. By providing access to the region’s leading orthopedic, sports medicine, and physical therapy for adults, children and athletes, Rise Indoor Sports is cultivating an atmosphere for a stronger and healthier community.
