Ho, Ho, Ho! It is time to Save the Date for the 2nd Annual Christmas in the Town of Bermuda Run, Sunday, December 4, 2022, from 2-5 PM at the Gazebo in Bermuda Run.
It’s true! Christmas will be here before you know it, so it is not too early to begin thinking about holiday activities for you and your loved ones. An event you will not want to miss since it will have something for kids of all ages and is free to the community.
The day kicks off with Santa and Mrs. Claus escorted by the Davie High School Marching Band and Dancing Boots. There will be carriage rides with the holiday horses (we have added more to this year’s line-up), new games for the kids with prizes, musical performances throughout the afternoon, vendors, and festive treats. Once again there will be a “Letters to Santa” station, where children may write their Christmas wishes to Santa and send them off to the North Pole. Santa and his helpers will in turn respond to each one. The Bermuda Run Garden Club will supply an ornament crafting station where children and parents will create bird-friendly ornaments to hang on the Town’s Christmas tree.
The three elves are returning along with their antics. You may have seen them frolicking about last year, but this year they have informed Santa they will have everyone in stitches! Light food will be available for purchase. The day’s event will culminate as folks gather for caroling and lighting the tree. Christmas in the Town of Bermuda Run is a day to celebrate the season, visit with your neighbors, and cherish the memories made with your family and friends.
